We developed this adhesive because for the last decade we had two places to choose from.  One of the large skateboard glue manufacturers closed their doors unexpectedly and without notice. The other glue manufacturer we just didnt care for their SK8 adhesive.  It just didn't have the stiffness or the pop we wanted.  So we purchased all the necessary machinery to make small scale batches of adhesive.  Small scale is 55 gal drums at a time by the way.. So after 12 different formulas we found 2 winners.  We accidentally added too much of an ingredient to one of our batches and decided to let it cook down and test it.  It turned out to have a great flex on our street decks and still maintain a solid feeling ride.  We tested that formula on our longboards and instantly had amazing feedback! We decided to keep that formula and keep going until we found that perfect street deck formula.  That was lucky #4 for us.  We kept developing and testing new batches until we landed on our 12th batch. This one was special.  We always wanted an adhesive that would make the deck stiff. The reason being is it seemed only the steep concaves would naturally feel stiff, while the mellow decks never felt all that stiff.  I wanted to be able to still offer mellow, medium concave decks and still have that solid stiff wood feel.  Batch #12 was a clear winner.  We have more solids content that any of the options from the larger companies including the 'bond' company.  Surprisingly the decks became a lot harder to break!  We were thrilled.  I sent our formula over to an adhesive manufacturer and after buying a few totes (2500lbs ea.) the company closed their doors months later. Thankfully since we own the formula we were able to find another manufacturer and offer it again!
